Description
Diffusion-open roofing felt from ekocell is a diffusion-open underlayment. The underlayment is installed under the finished roof, on top of the sarking or directly on the rafters. Please note that the underlayment is not walk-on safe. No air gap against the substrate is needed; the membrane is laid directly against the sarking or insulation. The minimum roof pitch for the underlayment is 14°. The underlayment should not be installed against impregnated wood.
It is used to protect the roof structure from rain, snow, and wind. The material allows unwanted internal water vapor to pass through it while being water and airtight from the outside. The underlayment's good vapor transport properties help protect against moisture and condensation problems.
